We live in a modern world filled with distractions, long work hours, expectations and comparisons, social media, and electronic gadgets, all pulling us away from our centre and from knowing who we truly are.
Many of us live by doing rather than being; we forget to live in the present and be aware of ourselves. Whenever we are misaligned with our true nature, we feel uneasy, tense, tired, overwhelmed, anxious, unmotivated and even depressed. All these are signs that we need to calm our minds, reconnect with ourselves, and remember who we are.
During these times of darkness and confusion, yoga, with the proper guidance, can help us transform darkness into light, ignorance into knowledge, knowledge into wisdom, and wisdom into peace and spiritual bliss. Yoga is beneficial to us in many ways.
On this journey, we will learn to be internally healthy and develop habits to help us thrive and improve our lives.
